Mother’s Day is quickly approaching! Whether you have been busy being a mom, career woman or running your own family; there is still time to get an amazing Mother’s Day gift that will have your mom smiling for the next few weeks to come.
Mother’s Day is such a special day to represent someone in your life directly. It’s a day to honor the woman who created you. It’s a day to celebrate motherhood, womanhood, sisterhood for all the women who have shaped and uplifted the women we see walking in the world today.
A special thank you to Mothers, Aunts, Grandmas, Sisters, Mentors, and many other mom-friends who have been there to support.
For those of you looking to switch up the dinner reservations and try something fresh this year, here are six ways to spend mother’s days without breaking the bank.
-
Day Trip or Cruise
Jump in the car, roll the windows down and take a quick road trip for the day. Or you can check out a local 4-hour cruise and spend the day on the water. Taking a day getaway can give you and your mom great memories that will last forever, while also learning more about each other over endless conversations.
-
Day Spa
For years, your mom has worked her butt off doing everything under the sun for you, the family and herself. While a day is nowhere near payback, who doesn’t love a good day of pampering. Find a nearby day spa where mom can let her hair hang down, enjoy the jacuzzi with her favorite wine, a glowing facial and close the day with a relaxing massage.

Feeling Adventurous
This year, my family and I opted out of the typical restaurant venue and decided to try Top Golf over drinks. If you and your mom are up for the adventure, try indoor rock-climbing, a trampoline park, bowling or even a walk alongside a boardwalk or harbor. Provide her with the gift of steps and get those blood juices going.

Enjoy a Show
Arrange a lovely dinner & show for you and your mom to enjoy. My mom and I love a good concert where we can move our body and sing along. But if you’re more chill, you can look up a great play or show in your local nearby theater.

Brunch & Dancing
Now if you’re feeling a good brunch, no problem… but find a brunch spot with a good DJ. I love a good brunch where I can enjoy some pancakes and champagne then spend the afternoon dancing away the calories to some good music. Help your mom to get her Beyonce on.
