Ready to spoil yourself?

Here are 9 Date Ideas for self-care this Fall.

  1. Visit your local coffee or tea shop

This cute solo date idea requires close to zero prior planning. Just pop down to your local coffee or tea shop and order your favorite drink. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the health benefits of tea, listen to music, or chat with other customers. It’s one of the few places where you can spend time on your own while still being surrounded by the warm buzz of a public place.

  1. Go apple-picking

Get into the Fall mood by visiting an apple orchard! Apple-picking is more than just picking fruits, it’s also great exercise. The movement is great for cardio and relieving stress, and so is breathing in the fresh air. Besides, you go home with delicious apples!

  1. Attend a workshop or pop-up event

Indulge in your fave hobbies by exploring workshops near you to join! Whether it’s music, art, photography, books, poetry, or more, there’s something for you out there! Just look up events at local community centers and online groups.

  1. Go a ride

Have a car and need to clear your head? Taking a drive alone every now and then is a great way to calm and center yourself. Try using driving as a form of active meditation, or let out any pent-up stress by screaming along to your favorite playlist.

  1. Try a new fitness activity

Taking care of your body is a vital part of self-care. If you haven’t been moving your body lately, this is your sign to try a new workout like yoga, Pilates, running, or rock climbing. You don’t have to be a fitness girly to get active! You can always start small with something easier to adapt to. The important thing is to find fun ways to get your heart rate up and feel good in your skin!

  1. Go to an art show

Did you know art can relieve stress and anxiety? This is the universe telling you to book a ticket to an art show, or simply visit a local art gallery. You may even get inspired to create art yourself!

  1. Visit your local festival or fair

Fall has the perfect cool, crisp weather for outdoor fun, and festivals or carnivals are likely coming to your town soon. Enjoy a chill night bobbing for apples, carving pumpkins, playing carnival games, and watching performances. Maybe you’ll even win a few prizes, fingers crossed!

  1. Attend a music concert

If fairs aren’t your jam, maybe music is. We’re not saying go splurge on Beyoncé tickets (but we don’t blame you if you do!), just look up local shows and get grooving. Whether you’re into punk bands or jazz orchestras, go and support your local artists and enjoy the cool Fall breeze at the same time!

  1. Make a special dinner at home

Bust out your cooking skills and whip up a special dinner just for you. This is your chance to have a relaxed night at home while catering only to your tastes. Cook your favorite meal while listening to your favorite music and drinking your favorite wine!

  1. Love these ideas. Can you do one for the winter/holidays? My boyfriend and I are doing experiences instead of gifts this year but need help in deciding some cute date ideas to do during the cold New York winter seasons.
