As promised, here is my continuation from last week …. Who is your style inspiration? Did they make my list? Let me know!
ITSMYRAYERAYE
When I first started following ItsMyRayeRaye, it was because of her big, beautiful curls!! Her hair is absolutely fantastic but she’s just a beautiful woman overall. On top of that, she’s incredibly talented with makeup and she reps the “big lip girls” like me. It’s no wonder people are drawn to her personality and her social media pages, especially her YouTube channel. She offers a different experience than most fashion bloggers by offering affordable makeup tips and products. She has it all: style, the hair, beauty, and, most important, an incredible sense of humor! I’m kind of glad she decided to go the beauty route rather than comedy, because my curls and makeup bag would be lost without her. However, she’s beginning to venture out into the entertainment scene, so we may just see her on a sitcom or her own. The world is her vessel and she’s using it to her advantage! Go RayeRaye, Go RayeRaye!
SARAH RAE VARGAS
This is the girl who changed my life for the better! A bit dramatic, yeah I know, but I just love her! I discovered Sarah Rae Vargas on YouTube. However, she’s a different YouTuber than the usual girls whose channels I subscribe to. Sarah was literally preaching between curse words about self-esteem and how fat girls shouldn’t be ashamed. Yes, she taught me to embrace, hug, and love the word fat. Seriously, I discovered her at a very low point in my life. I felt like I finally had someone I could relate to. I just knew we would be friends for life (in my head) forever once I found out that she was a model and spokesperson for Fashion to Figure. By the way, Fashion to Figure is like Torrid, but one hundred times better. She has profited from her very entertaining blog ravingsbyrae and other platforms, and she’s truly able to do what she’s passionate about and have a prosperous life. No, she’s not the typical beauty you would find in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. She doesn’t look like your average model, either. However, she’s charming in a “Get out of my face, I’m beautiful, and you can’t tell me I’m not” kind of way, and she’s inspiring women like me every day. If that’s not worthy enough to be on a fashionable list, then I don’t know what is.
TAMERA MOWRY-HOUSLEY
I have adored Tamera Mowry-Housley since her Sister, Sister days. She remains humble and a great inspiration for women like me who hold on to our morals. However, I never realized how fashionable Tamera was until I began watching her every day on The Real. Since then, I’ve been following her on Instagram and her personal website www.Tameramowry.com. Like me, she has naturally curly hair and I’m always picking up pointers on how to style my hair from her. She also dabbles in wigs and hair extensions. I love a girl who loves trying new hairstyles. For that alone she is truly a fashionable boss. She’s been in acting, along with her twin, since they were twelve and she’s been keeping herself relevant. Well, at least she is in my house. She wears what she likes and she always looks her best!
Where do I begin? Mother Bevy is quite the woman and I feel so classy just writing about her. She has been a successful fashion gem for a while but recently gained a lot of attention from her show Fashion Queens. Along with Derek J and Miss Lawrence, these fierce divas give extraordinary advice about fashion, of course, while serving face and leg! I live for this lady because she’s always honest, fair, but, most important, wise with her fashion tips. Also, as a cherry on top, she never fails to dress like the queen she is everywhere she goes! She is truly an iconic beauty and a big inspiration to me.
Being the lover of all things curvy and fabulous, I had no choice but to fall in love with Gabi Greg, also known as GABIFRESH. She’s such an amazing blogger and I’m always searching her blog for quick beauty tips and tricks. Like most of the women on this list, she took her passion, added hard work and sprinkled a lot of individuality on top, and then voilà! we were graced with this exceptional empire full of beauty and class. Don’t you just love a classy boss?
ZANITA WHITTINGTON
I wanted to end this list with a cool chick. Sometimes common people like me are let down when we meet bloggers or YouTubers in person. For whatever reason, the “fame” goes to people’s heads and they are completely atrocious to be around. Suddenly, you no longer want to support or follow such a pretentious person. Fortunately Zanita Whittington isn’t that way. Zanita offers a helpful blog for photographers, fashion lovers, and bloggers. Her blog is like the “cool zone” where you’re able to relax and learn new things, even about yourself. Her entire blog is full of goodies, but I must WARN YOU: You will try to devour all the information in one sitting. That’s not a good idea. Your head may explode, so I suggest you sign up on www.zanita.com and take everything one day at a time. Even her name is cool. I promise you’ll love everything about her.
That’s it! That’s my top twenty fashionable bosses. I hope you support these women along with all the other amazing bloggers and positive celebrities who are out there. It’s not easy being a boss, but these ladies do it without breaking a sweat!
