The newly released Netflix series, GirlBoss with thirteen episodes, is loosely based off Nasty Gal founder, Sophia Amoruso. In case you haven’t heard of the eBay tycoon, she was the one who turned her company, Nasty Gal into a $100 million dollar fashion empire and then wrote the ever so popular book with the cute pink cover, #GirlBoss.
Since her success, Amoruso has stepped down from being CEO of Nasty Gal (2015) and has since written a second novel, Nasty Galaxy; is the executive producer to the show GirlBoss; and recently launched her own media company GirlBoss.
