I have no friends, no family, no support system. I feel so alone. I try to make friends online but I know they are only my “online friends”. I don’t know what to do. I am so envious of relationships and families that I see on social media. What can I do?

A: One of the best ways to make friends both off and online while feeling accomplished is to volunteer. Doing some type of service work not only makes you feel like your contributing to society but you can really foster robust relationships when you are helping others – People always need help.
