Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for everyone to share a hot meal around the table with their loved ones. Turkey’s are made, recipes are shared and naps are taken! Did you know that the average person consumes about 1400 calories (this year I am skipping the whipped cream!). That is alot of turkey and gravy.
Thanksgiving is the official “kick-off” for the holiday season, and before we know it, it will be the new year.
Let’s reflect on how we can be more mindful this year:
Mindfully use social media.
Research has found that positive thoughts shared on social media spread faster than than negative — something that makes the gratitude process a lot easier when turning to the Internet.
Spend time with loved ones.

Know the value of the little things.
Small acts of kindness make a difference in a big way when it comes to cultivating gratitude.
Volunteer.
Everyone needs a little help sometimes — and grateful people know there’s no other way to acknowledge this than by paying it forward.
Get moving.
Exercising has been proven to clear your mind and reduce stress, all key components in setting yourself up for gratitude.
