DEAR THE VIRGO GIRL,
I work a lot..a lot a lot a lot…So much that I don’t have time for my friends, family or even myself. I’m twenty-five years old with no kids, no personal relationships and no time to stop. I have goals big goals for the time that I hit 35 and I won’t slow down until I reach them. But my long-term friends are driving me crazy at spending more time with them and enjoying the moments. How do I find a balance if having to give up time for them costs me money or worst my time?
Advice from Walter: Have you ever seen the movie “Click” with Adam Sandler? I recommend that you watch it because it speaks to your situation. As we get “older” our time becomes shorter and shorter because of life happenings such as family, school, work, and children. Ergo, its very important that you not only make time for your family and friends but that you also make time for yourself. The only difference between the words “health” and “wealth” is the first letter of each word. Other than that, they rhythmically flow together and that is how you should live your life. Wealth much like health can be interpreted in many ways but when it comes to health we are talking about mind, body, and soul and all three of those attributes require community. I believe that everything has its place and time and unlike material things/wealth ($)….human life has a deadline on this planet and so we must make sure to spend our time with each other because you never know when you’re gonna go!
