If there’s one thing that will get you in the mood for the holiday season it’s Christmas songs! I can’t be the only one who perks up when I hear them. They bring a feeling of nostalgia and hope and always remind you what the holiday season is really about.
There is one holiday song in particular that has rocked the charts every year since 1994. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas” is a classic and has stood the test of time for over twenty years now. Fans are in for a treat now because Ms. Carey will be releasing a children’s book, with pictures, just in time for the holidays!
Written by Mariah and illustrated by Colleen Madden, the book is the story of a young Mariah look-alike who wishes for a puppy for Christmas. Via press release Carey says, “I am so proud of the song’s impact as it continues to create memories for fans each year. I am thrilled to be able to bring the story of the song to new generations of families with the picture book.”
All I Want For Christmas is set to be released on November 10 and can be purchased from Doubleday books. Add it to your Christmas list!
