Manifest your Business: Meet Traci Hill of Conscious Evolution
You founded Conscious Evolution, a coaching business that helps women with anxiety and overwhelm through coaching and retreats. What was your main motivation to start this business?
A: Certainly! Your journey from struggling with stress and anxiety to becoming a coach who helps women heal through frequency and emotions is a powerful and relatable narrative that can inspire and resonate with many. Here’s how you can explain it:
—
I began coaching women who deal with anxiety as a result of my personal journey and struggles with overwhelming stress and the relentless pursuit of trying to handle too much at once. My own experience allowed me to deeply empathize with the challenges that women facing anxiety encounter on a daily basis.
My personal transformation came when I discovered the profound impact that frequencies and emotions had on my own healing journey. By understanding and managing these emotions, we can significantly alleviate anxiety and its debilitating effects. I discovered that everything in the universe vibrates at a specific frequency, and our bodies are no exception. By harnessing the right frequencies, we can harmonize our inner energies and promote healing on a deep, cellular level. This realization was a turning point in my own healing journey, and I felt compelled to share this knowledge and approach with others who were struggling.
Through coaching, I empower women to explore their emotions, understand the frequencies that resonate with their unique energies, and guide them towards a path of healing and self-discovery. Witnessing the transformative changes in these women’s lives fuels my purpose and confirms that healing from anxiety is not only possible but also achievable through a holistic approach that addresses both our emotional and energetic dimensions.
You run also run a Facebook group with over 23K members called Healing MS Naturally. How did your Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis change your views on wellness?
A: Being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and navigating the challenges it presented has been a transformative journey that fundamentally altered my perspective on wellness. This experience shifted my understanding of health and well-being, leading me to embrace a more holistic and natural approach to self-care. Here’s how I would explain it:
—
My journey with multiple sclerosis (MS) introduced me to a new realm of self-discovery and wellness. The diagnosis served as a turning point that prompted me to reevaluate my entire outlook on health and how I approached taking care of my body and mind.
As I embraced a more holistic approach to wellness, I found that nurturing my body through nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness became instrumental in managing my MS symptoms. Paying attention to the quality of the foods I consumed, what I allowed my eyes to consume, and practicing mindfulness techniques helped me regain a sense of control over my health.
Furthermore, this journey led me to explore natural remedies, alternative therapies, and practices such as meditation, yoga, and acupuncture. These modalities not only supported my physical well-being but also provided a soothing balm for my emotional and mental state. I learned that the mind-body connection is a powerful force that can influence healing and promote a sense of balance.
Perhaps the most significant shift in my perspective came from recognizing that wellness is a dynamic and ongoing process. It’s not a destination but a lifelong journey of self-care, growth, and adaptation.
On top of being a coach, you work as a Chicago Firefighter. How has your career background contributed to your business today?
A: Being a firefighter has uniquely shaped my role as a coach, enabling me to offer valuable insights and strategies to help women heal from anxiety. The experiences, skills, and mindset cultivated in my firefighting career have provided a solid foundation for guiding women towards emotional well-being and resilience. Here’s how I would explain it:
—
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned as a firefighter is the importance of remaining calm under pressure. In high-stress situations, quick decision-making and a composed demeanor are essential. Just as I’ve learned to focus on the task at hand amidst chaos, I guide women to embrace mindfulness and grounding practices that enable them to face their anxiety with a steadier mindset.
Being a firefighter has uniquely shaped my coaching approach, providing me with valuable skills, insights, and a compassionate perspective that aligns seamlessly with helping women heal from anxiety. Through my experiences, I’ve learned the significance of composure, teamwork, resilience, adaptability, and self-care – qualities that form the cornerstone of my coaching strategy. By sharing my journey and utilizing the lessons from my firefighting career, I empower women to face their anxiety with courage and embark on a path towards emotional well-being and healing.
How do you balance your 9 to 5 with running a business?
A: Navigating a full-time shift schedule job while simultaneously nurturing my coaching business has taught me the art of work vs rest balance. This dual commitment requires strategic planning of work to play scheduling so that I remain productive but also know when it’s time to rest or play.
In my firefighter role, we work 24 hours on and 48 hours off. I am an Engineer which means I drive the engine and that demands my utmost focus. While my full-time job is essential, I allocate my days off for my coaching business. Which doesn’t sound like much rest but I do most of my self-care in the morning each day.
What systems/programs do you use to help with time management and organization to better your business’s success?
A: I leverage calendars and tech integrations for efficient time management and organization in my coaching business. By seamlessly syncing schedules, automating tasks, and integrating apps, I optimize productivity and streamline operations. This tech-savvy approach ensures that every aspect of my coaching business is orchestrated with precision and ease. But, I wasn’t always tech-savvy and this has been something I’ve had to give a lot of attention to in the beginning of my business. I am not a detail-oriented person so it is a challenge most days.
What is a typical day like for you? How many hours do you spend on your business? Please breakdown by hours (7:00 am, 8:00 am etc.) Optional: the full breakdown is optional. We would like to show the readers how you create balance in your day.
A: This will be a tricky one for me to explain since each day is very different. For those juggling more than a business, I will give you a weekly example of my schedule.

Tell us more about your views on how spiritual health meets physical health.
A: Navigating challenging client interactions has been a crucial aspect of refining my coaching approach. Through experience, I’ve developed a strategy to address difficult clients and now exercise the power to choose who I work with.
I’ve come to realize that not every client is a suitable fit for my coaching style and expertise. This understanding prompted me to establish a selection process where I evaluate potential clients based on compatibility, goals, and commitment. I prioritize those who are genuinely motivated to heal and grow, aligning with my coaching philosophy and approach. And I would hope that, when we are having our initial phone call together, that they are also deciding if my coaching is right for them. It’s a 2-way street.
What books would you recommend for entrepreneurs to read? Any books that inspire you?
A: Think and Grow Rich is always a good one to start with. I read mostly self-help style books that are not oriented to entrepreneurs. I also love The Body Keeps the Score which is excellent for understanding how stress is held in the body.
How did you grow your customer base and following?
- By embracing my authentic self and staying aligned with my values, I’ve attracted a community that resonates with my message.
I’ve found that authenticity is magnetic on social media. Instead of conforming to trends or altering my voice, I share my personal experiences, insights, and perspectives without filters. This approach creates a genuine connection with my audience, fostering a sense of trust and relatability.
Growing my social media following authentically has been about embracing my uniqueness, sharing my journey, and consistently delivering valuable content that aligns with my core message.
How do you balance social media marketing and the day-to-day administrative tasks of running a business?
A: LOL I’m not sure this is my specialty. This is where I struggle most as I am a Big Picture and Idea-generator person. I do my best to engage with my audience daily but I also rely on inspiration. I never post something just to post and check it off my to-do list. There must always be some sort of divinely guided inspiration. The administrative tasks usually come last as they are my least favorite. I am sure I am behind on that to some degree.
How do you protect your peace with clients (business relationships); what boundaries do you set?
A: I would love to say I have this all figured out but honestly it is a work in progress. As a natural helper and healer, it is very easy for me to fall into the open-24/7 mentality. While this sounds great on paper, it has been too much for me mentally. So, I have created boundaries around how people can reach out to me. It is also made clear that you can send me a message but please don’t expect an immediate response during certain times of the day. However, I do expect my clients to check in with me. If I don’t hear from you I will assume all is going well. And that doesn’t work for several reasons. First, checking in lets me know you are doing the work assigned. Second, we always want to celebrate the wins no matter how large or small. I like to celebrate with my clients. Third, there may be an issue with understanding a concept but maybe my client isn’t made aware yet. This is a chance to clarify and deeper meanings.
Mostly my peace is kept by giving myself space for self-care and resting when needed. It is much easier to give from a full cup than an empty one.
What are the key values you follow as an entrepreneur?

What is the biggest hurdle you’ve faced as an entrepreneur?
A: I would certainly say the details of managing a business. I understand how to help people heal themselves. But, the back end of business is a challenge for me and takes me longer to adapt and understand. It’s a work-in-progress.
How has your business affected the community around you?
A: “Every day, in every way, I am getting better, better and better”. I can see change everywhere. I align with those who have a vision for a better tomorrow and truly see people waking up to being open to change for the positive. Every time we make a conscious choice to do something for the betterment of society, we have changed the outcome for the better. And I do see this a lot more often now.

5 Spotlight Questions!
What is your daily self-care routine?
I usually begin my mornings with oil pulling for my teeth and gums. I will then drink water and move into scanning myself with the AO Scanner. This is a technology that brings the body back into balance. I do the Inner Voice Scan which detects notes that are out of balance and gives me a playlist to bring my body back into balance. I will then exercise for 20-45 minutes followed by Hape which is a ceremonial tobacco used by Shamans and Indigenous tribes. I will immediately follow that with meditation sometimes while being outside and grounding/Earthing. All of this is around 2 hours of time but well-worth it. I also make sure to drink plenty of filtered water and get to bed by 9:30pm.
