Why You Should Wear Your Confidence (and Own It!)

Being a 9–5er, hustler, weekendpreneur, whatever you call yourself, there is one thing that a “preneur” needs at all times and that is confidence. For when you look good, you feel good. Let’s face the truth: After twenty-one we are in a constant war between caving in to our favorite guilty pleasure (brownies for me) and losing weight. I am now at a point in my life where I have begun to say “F*** the scale.” Life is too damn short to get caught up on the numbers, dress sizes, and looking good in a bikini. As long as I’m healthy and feel good, I’m comfortable with being my size and not the perfect size dictated by society’s ultimately irrelevant standards.

Feeling great about yourself can give you a rush not just of energy but of self-esteem and the aspiration you need to conquer the unconquerable. Especially my fellow bloggers, we can often struggle with a lack of confidence. With so many popular bloggers already and new ones arising everyday, it can make you second guess yourself often. Wear your Confidence. Blog with Confidence.

Here are five women of all sizes who are wearing their confidence and owning their sh**.

“To actually be on the cover, I didn’t think that Sports Illustrated was going to take that risk. But right now what they are doing is they are setting the standard for what everybody else—magazines, designers, people in Hollywood, should be doing.” – Reported by Forbes

Adele

“Would I show my body off if I was thinner? Probably not, because my body is mine. But sometimes I’m curious to know if I would have been as successful if I wasn’t plus-size. I think I remind everyone of themselves. Not saying everyone is my size, but it’s relatable because I’m not perfect, and I think a lot of people are portrayed as perfect, unreachable and untouchable.” – Reported by Rolling Stone
