Can Women Have It All In 2024?

The divide between being a career mom and raising a family has always been in question for women who want to “have it all.” Having it all means having your lucrative job, your supportive spouse, your adorable kids, and being able to balance it without a hitch.

But is that realistic for moms in 2024?

We know that inflation made it difficult for people, especially working mothers, in 2023 to put food on the table for their families and pay for childcare services like daycare. It’s obstacles like this that are out of our control and can make it difficult to be financially stable to afford the lives we dream about.

While financial experts say inflation is expected to fall this year, we know that the demands of parenthood can seem never-ending and expensive. As moms, we have to wear many different hats to get through not only motherhood but life. From working a long shift with extra hours to pad your paycheck, being an attentive partner to your spouse even when you’re feeling drained, to paying for your kids’ new clothes or doctor check-ups, it can get overwhelming. But there is good news, mama.

Women can absolutely have it all with the right boundaries in place to uplift us and make the money we need to not only survive but thrive.

If you’re ready to live your best life this year without anything getting in your way—not even yourself—here are 3 ways women can have it all in 2024.

1. Build your support system

We can’t get through life alone nor should we try as we are humans who need connection to live well. Your support system is critical on your journey to achieving your goals.

Whether it’s conversing regularly to your best friends and spouse, joining a support group, or talking to your financial advisor, give yourself grace with a support system that listens to your needs, embraces you, and helps you put together a game plan to make your financial goals easier to attain.

2. Practice self-care daily

Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury but a priority, mama. When you feel good, you do good! Taking the time to create healthy self-care routines to practice each day fuels you with the energy you need to build your dream life.

You can set a meditation schedule for the mornings and evenings before bed with affirmations to elevate your mindset. Here are a few of our favorite affirmations to manifest confidence in yourself:

● “I am ready to face today with courage and grace.”

● “I am deserving of a fulfilling career and work-life balance.”

● “My faith in myself is unshakeable.”

Also, don’t underestimate the value of eating well and moving your body more. Becoming rich in self-care is one of the first steps to building a wealthy life that goes beyond money.

3. Focus on your passions

If you aren’t satisfied with your current job and it’s hindering you from moving forward with your goals, it’s likely time to re-evaluate your passions—and monetize them.

Think about it: Your dream career is a job you are happy to wake up and do. What if that job consisted of hobbies you enjoy doing right now that you scaled into a business?

You can scale writing short stories into a blog business or sewing cute clothes for your children into a clothing line. The possibilities to turn your passion into profit and secure the bag are endless!

  1. I sometimes wonder this all the time if I can juggle a husband, children, career and business. Thanks for bringing up the topic.
